TAKE ACTION

Don’t read another section without contacting your legislators!

NC REALTORS® has led the charge throughout the pandemic to ensure the voice of the real estate industry is heard by elected officials across the state. While we have been heard, we need to turn up the pressure with ACTION!

House Bill 1200 provides vital rental and mortgage assistance to tens of thousands of North Carolinians through allocating federal relief money for grants. It also provides needed financial assistance to landlords and property managers who face their own economic hardships due to tenants’ inability to pay rent.

This legislation will be back before the General Assembly when they return in September, and WE NEED YOUR HELP to ensure it gets across the finish line.

Tell your legislators to support House Bill 1200 and bring need relief to thousands of homeowners, renters, and landlords across our state.

What is the state of the North Carolina real estate industry?

HINT: You don’t have to wait much longer to learn the AWESOME speaker line-up

Even though we can’t come together in person for this year’s State of Real Estate event, that doesn’t diminish the vital nature of this discussion. For that reason, we have shifted the 2020 State of Real estate to a virtual platform.

Make plans to join us on Wednesday, September 23 and Thursday, September 24 for conversations with nationally recognized speakers and state leaders. We are almost ready to make some announcements on some great participants, so make sure to watch stateofrealestatenc.com and other NC REALTORS® communications.

Stand up and be counted—2020 Census

2 minutes for the next ten years

Every decade, we are faced with the essential responsibility to participate in the national decennial Census. We could honestly spend an entire multipage newsletter on the value of participation in the 2020 Census, but instead, we will summarize it in one sentence…

The data compiled by the Census drives A LOT of the decisions made by governments at ALL LEVELS for at a MINIMUM the next 10 YEARS!

Or more simply—RESPOND TO THE CENSUS!!

NAR has compiled a comprehensive resource page which details the essential role that this Census data plays for the real estate industry. NC REALTORS® will also be posting a lot of content on social media over the next few weeks promoting participation.

And before we go, one time more—RESPOND TO THE CENSUS!!
